Which Pass to Buy?
You can buy a one-way day pass on the Light Rail, which is fine if you are not going to need a ride back on the same day. Otherwise, a wiser purchase is an all-day pass. This is not quite double the price of a one-way ticket, and is not only good for the entire day, but you can use the all-day passes on any of the local city buses. This is especially important for areas where there is not a stop adjacent to where you want to go.
If you take the Light Rail and City Buses A LOT, it makes sense to buy a monthly pass. This will pay for itself after about a dozen uses.
